Animal trap

Floorboards creak underfoot. The wind howls outside. Branches move the windows. An impenetrable darkness in which something lurks....

Zuza never had much luck, but somehow she has always gotten by. When she is deceived by her former partner, she has to face the truth. She is thirty-four years old, two million in debt, and in less than six months she will give birth to twins.

And then Marek appears in her life, the perfect man: handsome, caring and mature. After a few months of being together, he suggests that she moves to his hometown Toporzyce. Zuza's doubts about leaving are only dispelled some suspicious people who turn up at her window.

Back in the village, Marek learns that he has to go to Germany because on an urgent assignment. As autumn begins and the nights get longer, Zuza is left alone in an old house in the middle of the forest. The rural idyll slowly changes into a nightmare with each passing day.
