Plague

After miraculously escaping with his life from an ambush by a psychopathic murderer, Igor Brudny is undergoing a slow and difficult recovery. The world he woke up in, however, is no longer the same. Brudny has been banished from Warsaw, and Inspector Romuald Czarnecki's team in Zielona Góra no longer exists. But at least his former partner Julia Zawadzka remains by his side.

Zawadzka, having been transferred to Zielona Góra, is also facing new challenges. Her investigation has reached a dead end and the corpse of another murdered woman has been found in a nearby forest. The results of the autopsy show that hardly a drop of blood remained in the victim's body. On top of this, there a car accident victims has turned up, which Zawadzka would rather forget....

Dark clouds are gathering over Zielona Góra. Frustrated by his helplessness, Brudny wonders if the evil he knows so well has reappeared in the town. One day, a person in desperate need of help turns up at his home unexpectedly. Will the bruised detective find the strength to solve one more case?
