The past comes to call one last time.

The summer in Zielona Góra is interrupted by a crime when prosecutor Brunon Kotelski is bestially mutilated and murdered. At the same time, inspector Igor Brudny receives a memento from the past.

With inspector Romuald Czarnecki now retired, prosecutor Arleta Winnicka takes over the case. The crime scene, the choice of victim and the absence of clues leave no doubt. The killer is brutal, unpredictable and well in control of the situation. He is quick to let the investigators know that neither of them can feel safe. The toughest case of their careers is just getting underway.
